  • I offer developmental editing and copyediting services. My focus is on the big-picture craft aspects of your writing—story structure, character introductions, hook, pacing, and clarity. While I do correct typos and grammar mistakes when I spot them, please note that I am not a proofreader.

  • I will make two passes through your pages. I’ll leave line edits and reader reaction comments, and after the second pass I will craft a one page summary of my feedback on how to make your pages shine. Once the edits are complete, I will return the pages to you and ask that you schedule a follow-up call for the following week, allowing you time to sit with the feedback and come up with any questions.

  • It will take me 3 to 9 days to return your pages with feedback. I will begin working on your pages after your payment is received.

  • I’m happy to review your pages a second time after the initial edit, for a discounted fee. Please reach out via the contact form on this website if you'd like to discuss this option.

  • I prefer to communicate by email for questions and clarifications. After the feedback is returned, we will schedule a follow-up call to go over the edits and discuss any points of confusion or areas where you'd like additional guidance.

  • I accept docx files for editing. Please send your manuscript in this format for the best experience.

  • I aim to provide the best feedback possible, but if you're not satisfied with my edits, please reach out to discuss how we can address your concerns. I want to ensure you're happy with the final result.
